Hona & Nina

Hona and Nina Maisler were both doctors. Originally from Tsarist Russia, they met at medical school in Paris and got married in 1914. They lived in an apartment in Paris and in their house in Fontainebleau. Hona devoted his entire medical career to developing the Maisl?riase, his new method for the treatment of gonorrea. He worked in various Paris hospitals and was the scientific director of the Laboratoires de la Maisl?riase in Paris. Nina became blind but continued her medical research which included the Maisl?riase. In 1942, they were deported separately from France to Auschwitz where they died. Hona was 55 years old. Nina was 50 years old. They did not have any children.

Nina est devenue aveugle, mais a poursuivi ses recherches m?dicales, notamment sur la Maisl?riase. En 1942, ils furent d?port?s s?par?ment de la France ? Auschwitz o? ils p?rirent. Hona avait alors 55 ans, Khinia 50. Ils n?ont pas eu d?enfants.
